Sought after for her interpretations of the French and Bohemian masters, her performances are described as remarkably balanced, finely nuanced, and deeply felt, knowing how to dazzle with her mastery and the height of the gesture, and how to obtain from an orchestra density, expressiveness, and details.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Chief Conductor of the Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie (Koblenz, Germany) from the start of the 2026\/27 season, Marzean Diakun continues to guest conduct in Europe and North America. From her country\u00b4s Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice and The Fryderyk Chopin Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gda\u0144sk, to the South Bohemian Chamber Philharmonic, the Neubrandenburger Philharmonie and the W\u00fcrttembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen in Germany, The Dutch Radio Philharmonic Orchestra in the Nederland, Orchestre Pasdeloup and Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice in France, Tonk\u00fcnstler-Orchester and Symphonieorchester Vorarlberg in Austria, Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de Madrid and the Basque National Orchestra in Spain as well as in Turkey the \u0130stanbul State Symphony Orchestra, in Finnland the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra and in Canada the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Her newest recording of Brahms\u2019 works for choir and orchestra (Label IBS) with Orquesta y Coro Comunidad de Madrid, of which she was Artistic Director and Principal Chief Conductor until the summer of 2024 has been greatly hailed by the press.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Her own foundation, \u00a8Per Musicam ad Futura\u00a8, and collaborations with institutions such as Festival Pr\u00e9sence and the Ensemble Intercontemporain are the culmination of two decades of dedication to new creations, premiering and performing new works by numerous Spanish, Dutch, Austrian, Polish, and French composers. Her recording, Polish Heroines of Music (Label PWM) is an exemplary model of her savoir-faire and commitment.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>WARNER will release this season a box of several piano concertos with legendary pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja and the Deutsche Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, conducted by Marzena Diakun.
